Lifestyle management should be adjusted according to the changing seasons and climate.

Here are some tips for maintaining a healthy lifestyle to combat obesity:

  1. Maintain a fixed wake-up time.
  2. Avoid staying up late and waking up late.
  3. After brushing your teeth, drink one glass of warm water with a pinch of turmeric.
  4. Start with 5 sun salutations and gradually increase the number over time.
  5. Have breakfast at 8 a.m.
  6. Have lunch at 12 p.m.
  7. Have a soup before lunch.
  8. Have an evening snack at 4 p.m. such as a fruit.
  9. Avoid sleeping in the afternoon.
  10. Practice evening pranayama and meditation.
  11. Have dinner at a reasonable time.
  12. Dinner can consist of khichadi.
  13. Go to bed early at night.
  14. Avoid eating leftovers, fried food, sweets, and unhealthy food.
  15. Opt for home-cooked meals and avoid eating out, food stored in the refrigerator, fermented food, junk food, potatoes, and unhealthy food.
  16. Avoid alcohol, smoking, and non-vegetarian food.
